libcanberra-pulse software package provides PulseAudio backend for libcanberra, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcanberra-pulse
libcanberra-pulse is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcanberra-pulse package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcanberra-pulse *
You will get with libcanberra-pulse package name, version, architecture and description in a table
